DO NOT mount the speaker using only the two top screws as this will result in inadequate support and could cause damage to your speaker or wall over time. We strongly recommend mounting with all four screws whenever possible.
2. Insert a toggle bolt into each of the holes, making sure that the wings are fully open before inserting through the hole in the wall so that they can open up on the other side.
3a. For drywall applications: Once both toggle bolts are inserted through the hole in the wall, pull gently on each one until it is tight against the back of the drywall and then tighten each bolt by hand until snug using a Phillips head screwdriver . Be careful not to overtighten as this could strip out the threads in either The Mount or wall itself causing damage that would not be covered under warranty.. Finish tightening each bolt by alternately tightening each one an additional turn while holding down on The Mount so it doesn’t twist.. If you have difficulty getting The Mount tight against the surface of your drywall, try removing one of The Mount’s bottom screws, insert a small nail or drywall anchor into one of The holes and reattach The screw.. This will act as a spacer between The Toggle Bolt and The Wall allowing you get achieve proper tension without stripping out any threads..
